The previous design for bertolami.com (2004) strived to provide direct access to content with as little art overhead as possible. At that point, virtually all of my projects were software based.

Over time as my interests grew and expanded, I started projects outside the field of computer science. As a result, I began to feel the limitations of my 2004 design, and a redesign was necessary.

The 2006 variant of my website embraced a crisp and symmetric design that more adequately merged the needs of organization with aesthetics.

This website was written primarily using html/css and featured a custom robust php driven architecture that provides: a forum and comment system, a file manager, an image viewer, a news and blog system, a projects manager, and a control panel.
